A mentoring and training structure involving senior and junior faculty, as well as graduate and undergraduate researchers, in nested mentoring relationships.


A weekly 1.5 hour seminar focusing on the state of science within the areas of:


Child reading and math learning

The role of choice in learning

Brain bases of number and word processing

Social/affective factors in child learning

Clinical and diagnostic issues in learning disorders

Genetic contributions to learning

Teaching, training, and intervention techniques

Brain imaging methods
